Different privacy laws exist for protecting our students’ educational and health privacy. These laws are called FERPA (the Family & Educational Right to Privacy Act of 1974, 20 U.S.C. § 1232g) and HIPAA (the Health Insurance Portability & Accountability Act of 1996, P.L.104-191).
